KBP Inc. Sponsors Green Certification Program
Kelly Brothers Painting, Inc. is proud to announce they are a partner sponsor for the Build it Green Training Certification Program, sponsored by the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe. This program will train local professionals in the "how-tos" of green building concepts. This training is based on the principles of green building and the systems approach to the design, construction and operation of buildings.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System ™ is a voluntary, consensus-based national standard for rating and certification of the performance of buildings with regard to energy and water conservation, impact on the environment, indoor environmental quality, and conservation of resources. Members of the U.S. Green Building Council representing all segments of the building industry developed the LEED Rating System and continue to contribute to its evolution.
